First Edit

First cut: Producers notes for the filmmakers

  • Trim – start on shot of him getting off the bus
  • Work on your atmos and sound effects as they occasionally bump us out of the story
  • Unfortunate occasionally mic pops and rustle get in the way of otherwise above average sound for 50 Kisses – can you work on / fix?

Quirky feel with the voice over and music. Pleasant to watch and the story reminded me of something similar I did years ago. A few times actually. This is the beauty of this script and the actors played it well.

The walking closeup looked as if the actor was holding the camera but thats something I would notice as I have done that. Ask a film maker to review a film and they will look for these things so it may not be anything to worry about But then again if I picked it up.

Good quirky peep show feel about it. Enjoyed it. Hope you don't have any issues with clearance for the several brands at the beginning (co-op, boots etc). May have to look into that. But enjoyed it. well done. Wouldn't really change anything if i'm honest.

Well filmed - clearly a lot of hard work has gone into it.

However, the male actor doesn't seem to understand or portray the humour and jokes that were in the script. And it's the humour that makes the script entertaining. Also, I think it would benifit from being spoken rather than voice over - as esentially, we're just watching a guy sit at a desk or walk down a street for two and a half mins.
